Balmoral is such a good beach option with kids thanks to the calm sheltered water and everything being close together. There’s a fully fenced playground right near the beach, grassy picnic space, public amenities and beautiful harbour views.

There are loads of food options nearby too, including The Boathouse Balmoral, Bottom of the Harbour Seafoods, Kazzi Beach Greek, Pasture of Balmoral and Public Dining Room. It’s an easy swim, play and lunch day without having to move the car.

Parking is difficult all year round, and also expensive but worth it!
