Garçon
Looking for somewhere to eat with the kids in Lane Cove? Garçon is a French inspired café and restaurant at The Canopy, making it an easy spot to combine breakfast, lunch or dinner with a playground visit.
The menu has a mix of French classics and familiar favourites, from croissant eggs Benedict and French toast to burgers, pasta and steak frites. There’s also a dedicated kids’ menu with options including chicken nuggets and chips, burgers and pasta.
The biggest drawcard for families is the location. The Canopy playground is just nearby, with climbing equipment, slides, mini trampoline which can keep the kids entertained before or after your meal/you can tag team supervision with another grown up.
There’s outdoor seating too, and a grassy area nearby where older kids can run around while you enjoy your meal. If you’re sitting outside, it’s a great option for families with kids who don’t want to sit still for too long.
