Parramatta River Foreshore Reserve
Just a walk across the bridge from Powerhouse Parramatta, this riverside playground is a lovely spot to add to a family day out. Long slides, rock climbing and rope play make it better suited to bigger kids, with a few options for younger ones too, plus sand and water play.
The foreshore is a bonus for a slower wander, with wide, flat paths that are great for prams, river views and heaps of ducks to spot along the way.
