Parsley Bay Reserve

Vaucluse · Eastern SuburbsFree

Sydney’s hidden little beach that is so good with kids. Parsley Bay is such a beautiful spot for a summer morning, with calm water, a little sandy beach, shady picnic spots and loads for the kids to do.

We park on The Crescent and walk down the path to the bay. Just a heads up, the route we use isn’t pram friendly, so I’d take a carrier with a little one. There’s also a playground and Parsley Bay Cafe Kiosk right by the beach. The calm enclosed swimming area is particularly good with younger kids and the bushy surrounds make it feel tucked away from the city.
