Clifton Gardens
Clifton Gardens is such an easy harbour day with kids because you get swimming, playground time and plenty of grass in the same spot. The sheltered harbour swimming area is a great alternative when you don’t want big surf.
There’s a large playground with sand all the way through it which is quite unique. Also grassy picnic areas, toilets and food nearby, so you can easily settle in for the morning rather than making it a quick stop. The carpark is pricey and there are only 113 spots, so get there early to beat the crowds.
